In response to Erin Morgenstern’s amazing novel, The Night Circus, I have called upon others who love the book to join me in what I’m calling The Rêveurs Revelation Fashion Project: dressing as a rêveur/rêveuse on the 13th of every month. We’ve been doing it since August 2012. Fellow fans are invited to send me pictures of themselves dressed this way, and though lots of people write in on Facebook and Twitter and even on this blog to tell me they’re doing it, most are camera-shy. Here is the collection of RRFP pictures, though, of people who have done it and of myself, since I’ve committed to posting my rêveuse picture every month.
Here is my response to The Night Circus.
Here is the invitation to participate in the RRFP and the August 2012 posting.
August 2013 — And please note, this one is different and is asking you for a response.

Note, September 15, 2013: I believe 13 months is a fitting length of time to pay public fashion tribute to this wonderful novel, and so while I still adore The Night Circus, the RRFP has officially ended. Unofficially, I know many of us will continue to participate now and then, just for fun. Thank you, sincerely, to everyone who participated in this project with me.
