I have been writing stories and poems since I was a young child, and I knew with confidence by the time I was sixteen that I would be a writer and author. And I am. And that fills me with joy!
But I also have hobbies, many of them artistic. I have been trying hard to make art my whole life, with varying degrees of success. (Note the many rather pathetic drawings I made and my fifth grade art teacher telling me I should really take Creative Writing in sixth grade instead. Thanks for laying down the tough love, Mrs. Ducoté. It kind of hurt then, but it was one of the best pieces of advice I ever got, and I flatter myself that I was smart enough to listen to you.)
