National Poetry Month 2023: Day 10

There are people who post poems on Twitter, published poems by other people. Sometimes I can follow back to the original and sometimes, not so much. And sometimes I want to hang onto those lovely gems and bookmark them, and sometimes I share them with others. Tonight I’m sharing this image with you, copied over from Twitter, which I saw originally in my feed posted by Alina Stefanescu (@aliner), back in July. It’s of a poem by Anne Carson, “O Small Sad Ecstasy of Love.” I saved it here to share with you now. See how beautifully this works, this passing of poetry from one to another to another to another. So nice.
